Holi Puja Vidhi
Wrap the gathered wood with raw cotton thread three or seven times.
Then, sprinkle Ganga water or pure water, flowers, and kumkum on it for worship.
Use garlands, roli, akshat, batasha-gur, whole turmeric, gulal, and coconut for the puja.
While chanting ‘Asrikpabhasantrasstai: Krita twam Holi balishaih: Atastwam Pujayishyami Bhute Bhutiprada Bhava’ ( ‘असृक्पाभयसंत्रस्तै: कृता त्वं होलि बालिशै:। अतस्त्वां पूजायिष्यामि भूते भूतिप्रदा भव।।’ ) do seven rounds around Holika.
